Back home

Hey – I am so surprised how fast the time is running... I am back home already one week... Crazzy!!! ... And still thinking about the Workshop and the friends what I have met there!!

There is something really important what I wanted to say - It was really great to work together, to be on stage (to act) with different collegues – in so close contact, in so close communication (non verbal, of course J, but as I undestood – it is much more than verbal communication, because you should really listen in your partner, in his real feelings.. )... It was always a wonderful surprise how our feelings, emotions and non verbal communcation between stage partners can grow :)

I really appreciate that I had this opportunity to play on stage with such a positive, open, and energic people!

Antje – you are very great person, there are a hundreds of things to learn from you! For example – your fantazy language! Incredible! Really! The way how you aced as a clown was extremely funny for me (flirting with eye) :D I love also how you was that extremely nice lady with City map in the bus stop and also, of course, your fighting and being as a ghost. :)
Catherine – you are very beautiful young woman! You have very special glamour, please – do not ever forget this! You was ssso cute aggressor! Aggressor and cute! So great! :D Extremely cute! And you are really good in that! :) I had fun to play with you together - and we had this opportunity a lot of times. ;)
Marie-Severine – you are very friendly and helpful woman with a wonderful positive energy! I loved to talk to you and actually just look how you communicate with people. You have so good voice and pantomime. I always enjoyed looking at you when you were on stage. Very Professional! You are Professional! :)
Angeline – Ohhh yesss! :) You are my lovely queen! - Forever! I really enjoyed to play with you all the times we had that opportunity. It is so easy to play with you, because it is so easy to feel and read on your face what do you feel and what do you want to say. I like the energy what comes from you. :)
Raivis – you are friendly and extremely positive young men! I really appreciate that I had this wonderful opportunity to get to know you better as we spent so much time together. Thank you for sharing your time and emotions! I loved when you was dying Polonius and also what you said one day behind Piano „Please, give me the space for dying! I need the space for dying well :D” And when you was that clown – oo men! I couldn’t stop laughing!!! :D
Paul – my first impression about you – yes – he knows what does he do..., and then I understood that - really – you know what you are doing on the stage for sure. It is always so interesting to look at you. Thank you for having fun when we were clowns on the stage and also the last day’s backstage fun. :D
Theresa – you are young but with so BIG potential! Please, continue acting! You are extremely good in that! You have everything for that - you are good looking, nice, friendly, open to diferent and also reallllly crazzzzy ideas, etc. and etc. You are our baby (as Delphine said once) :) You need to be on stage! I really enjoyed to look at you all the times and allt he times you was surprise for all of us! :) I liked how you acted as Hamlet and also as an aggressor, but the most I really loved your song in the first day. It was lovely. :)
Ludmila – I like that you are always in harmony, friendly. It is nice to be in your company, because I have very safe and relaxed feeling. I loved your last day’s personage - typical Latvian men with grass :D, and also that clown conclusion presentation was really good ;)You are lovely Ophelia and funny Polonius, and I loved the sound – „u uuu” – when ghost comes. :)
Anna – you are nice person! I really had fun when we were playing together and you was my victim :D he hee – we were laughing soo much :D And yes – You are really good when you had to be as an agressor. :)
Selin – you are soo fantastic turkish woman! The first person we have met and also we spent much time together. You have very specific glamour. I like how you dance and your wonderful sparkle in your eyes. When you was a clown – I laughed ssoo much - :D you and piano :D Your way how you act is so nice, specific and it was always real/true! :)
Davut – you are quite nice Hamlet! :) Hmm... – actually, yes, you are ;) Because I always enjoyed to look how you play – there were all emotions in you – interest, love, maddeness, hate, contept, etc. Sometimes I was really scared... Funny was when you went to dead Polonius, looked at him, then at your watch, and said – „sorry, but I have to go” :D I liked all of those times when we play together and also last evenings great conversation and fun in the metro :D
Elena & Elena – both of you always will be for us as „Elena Elena” :) - together (as the first excersise – when the task was – there is something important to say, but you cann’t – it was funny :D ), at the same time there are a hundreds of specific things to say to each of you, because I had that wonderful opportunity to play with each of you.
Elena – You are the first person with who I had excersise with that stick – listening – I liked it :D and the last day’s conclusion presenation was very funny (do nothing! feel it! Let the things happen! - do nothing!) :D
Elena (Ophelia) – you are extremely good agressor (bus stop – that ph ph)! I feel that I still can hear how you answer – „yes Hamlet?.. I listen!.. To be Hamlet!” and - the last conclusion presentation (warm up) – I couldn’t stop laughing :D
Maya – you are really great person (friendly, interesting, postive) and professional on stage! This is what I understood already when you introduced yourselve by telling poema on the first day. I love to look at you when you are on the stage. It is always interesting! And enjoyable! And please never forget very important moment – Unesco :D he hee :D
Juliette – thank you for your translation and improvisation during translation J, your always positive energy and your help and taking care of us all the week ;)
Delphine and Jeremie – thank you for your energy, work, time, useful excersises, analyze, etc. & etc. :)
Amy – thank you for being our shadow all the week, also taking part in our excersises and, of course, showing us the city ;)
Anais – thank you for your delicious food and help in the process of writing in the blog and putting photos on the laptop ;)
Guylene – thank you for organizing this workshop and letting so wonderful moments happen! ;)

It was wonderful week! I am really satisfied!!!

I really miss the time we had together – breakfasts in the mornings, warm up excersises with Jeremy, Bus stop, Happy happy feelings, lunch lime, clown nose excersises, and of course – Hamlet :) and that – I am the king (Es esmu karalis) :DDDD

Some thoughts from home!!!

Hello Everyone!!!!

Back home and I still feel a little bit strange. It's like i left something in the middle, like i left when everything was getting a meaning, a sense, when something was starting to being built. It is a great knowledge that i have gained through the workshop. During the workshop, the eenerrgy was so possititve and that was beacause of each one of you. Thank you for making this experience so positive with your own true character!!!! I hope we meet again in the future for the continuance of what we started...

I will cherish the memories of this week

Glad to have been part of it

With my love

it will never be over

Hi there!
Before going to sleep on the 'last day' I had a feeling that everything was happening in a slower pace. The water in the shower was running slower, cars on the street were slower, people in the yard were laughing slower. Really... That was a bit weird...

Some of workshop mates said that this is because I do not want to leave yet and that's why the time for me was running slower. And I cannot argue about this. It was hard to leave...

I miss you all guys! Your honesty, optimism, happiness, crazy ideas, openness, friendliness, theatralism...

And I do believe that the world is small enough for us to meet once again... See you later :)

P.S. I will never be the same person again. The workshop shaped my personality and changed me a lot [in a positive way, of course]

P.S.2 I enjoyed a lot the 'warming up' excercise a few hours before the flight.

大家好!

我过了一个非常愉快的星期。

这车间很有趣,大家都很好! 气氛也很不错。

过的很快,可惜这已经结束了。

有一点哀伤,... 希望我们下次见面。

拜拜

hello again
I am really sorry that tomorrow is already our last day. I would like to stay much longer. To takke part in the workshop is really a pleassure. Thank you very very much.

see you tomorrow

Paul

Every day I want more and more

As much as I see that what others do on the scene and as much as I see how they do it on the scene - I want to try it as well, to try to act, to try to play in different ways on the scene =)

Inita ;)

Day by day...

Hello,

I am the one in the corner taking notes....
Every day the initial action/reaction exercices take on more and more meaning in many different ways. The fact that we have these concrete physical examples to keep going back to is so important and useful, especially in a context where there are a range of languages flying around the room...

A real experience. Thank you.

And I learnt that 'bon apetit' is 'labu apetiti' in Latvian...

Luda :))

I never thought that i can be an Ofelia, actually i never took too serios all the classical theater pieces, i thougt they are too old for us, and didn't '' get the point '', but today i suddenly felt the emotions of these personages and they are still the same hundreds years ago and now... so thank you for this feeling, for letting go yourself for a small piece each day, for starting listening to yourself, not faking smth up. Love, Luda

I LOVE this Workshop !!!!! :)

Yes! Thats truth! - I love this workshop! For me it is ssssssssssssssssssoooooooooooooooo INTERESTING, EXITING and, of course, USEFUL! Both - Jeremy and Delphine - are sssoooo good in what they are doing and giving to us (skills, experience, etc.). The excersises what they give to us and what from first pont of view seems to be sssoo easy....., actually are not so easy as it seems..... - it is a CHALLENGE! Wonderful challenge! And every time it is absolutely different! I really enjoy it! =) Thank you ssssoooooooooooooooooo much for this OPPORTUNITY!!!!!!!! =)

Impressions

This workshop is really an opportunity to discover myself, express my feelings and find new ways to show them and convince the autience....

Exploring our Feelings...

This workshop quides us, the participants, in recognising our immotions, exploring and gradually let them grow, let them show. It is an amazing and new experience that makes you want more...

davut

i WANT that ice cream :)

do nothing

do nothing... let the emotion be born and then live it, don't fabricate things, just wait... do nothing - this is the hardest thing for me just to DO NOTHING... just wait, trying.

a magic moment

bref, on rêve d'une semaine pendant laquelle tout se déroulerait selon vos désirs, vos envies , eh bien, ce stage m'a tout l'air d'être de l'ordre de ce rêve...

Thankyou

I very enjoy the workshop, also if it is a challenging to understand each other without words. Thanks that I can be here.
Antje

the third lovely day

hello everybody
thanks a lot for this beautiful workshop. It is a pleasure to participate in. The people are really great and I am learning a lot about the basis of our conversation. Everything is theater and on stage also everything is true even when it was made up. I hope that this workshop can be done every year, or maybe more often. I hope we people from Iena can manage it to invite you soon, too. So now I am going to have lunch.
Bye, bye...
